Concrete Pipes for Humes Australia

SKAKO Concrete just obtained a considerable order (3,2 million Euro) for the delivery of a turnkey solution for Humes Australia where the whole production process is taken care of: from receiving the aggregate, powder and admixtures and handling, to the production of the concrete and delivery to the actual production stations. The plant will be extremely efficient with a fast cycle time of each batch. The high productivity will be made possible  through the use of SKAKO’s unique APOLLO mixer, the fast concrete bucket conveyors CONFLEX at 4.5 m/sec., and not less through the use of SKAKO’s intelligent automation technology (SKAKOMAT).

Humes Australia is part of the Holcim group and known as a very innovative company producing pipes from dry cast concrete and other articles produced with SCC-wet-cast (Self Compacting Concrete). This plant will be the most modern and flexible plant in the Oceanic region.
