FURNACE OUTLET CONVEYORS
Vibratory conveyors type CCU leaf spring design, are utilised for collecting and transporting the hot slag directly from the furnace discharge points. These vibratory conveyors are also used for the transportation of wet slag. Ideal for 24 hour continuous operation, the unbalanced motor driven units are usually 800, 1000 or 1250mm wide, with lengths up to 20M.
OVERSIZE REMOVAL SCALPERS
Vibrating scalpers type SCU are used to scalp off the oversize material, prior to the transportation of the waste material to the slag pit. The are usually situated directly after the furnace outlet conveyors.
SLAG PIT LOADING CONVEYORS
Type CCU unbalanced motor driven vibratory conveyors are used for slag pit loading. They are suitable for handling either hot or wet slag, and allow for 24 hour continuous operation. Their design allows for either floor mounting or overhead suspension Usually 800, 1000 or 1250mm wide, with lengths up to 6M.
Instead of loading into slag pits, type CCU unbalanced motor driven vibrating conveyors on turntables allow for an even distribution of waste materials into containers and skips. Units up to 6M long can be turntable mounted.
Incineration ash and fines which could cause environmental pollution, can be collected and transported in totally enclosed and fully dust proof type COU vibratory tubular conveuors. Dependant upon the plant layout, the unbalanced drive motors can be mounted either under or over the tube. These are available in 6 standard diameters between 160 - 560mm, with lengths upto 10M.
